Comparing and contrasting Lovburg and Tesman.
These characters are like opposites! Tesman is studying the past, while Lovburg focuses on the future, tesman is hoping for the professorship, although Lovburg is more likely, one is smart, the other.....confused. Lovburg has been looking towards the future with his new book, and professorship opening to take when Tesman is focusing on...yea, pretty much nothing. With Hedda now with Tesman, what does this say about her, she rather focus more on the past, then focusing on the future with Lovburg, I don't know, but Hedda was wih both of them, what do u think.

Interesting paralell you draw with Hedda being attracted to the past and all, but keep this in mind, grasshopper: there's a good chance that Hedda doesn't really love Tesman-that the's a female authorith aspiring to Lovborg-the future, but ends up staying in the present. Cool comparison, though;)
